TKmon is a web interface developed by NETWAYS and Thomas-Krenn.AG for simplified administration of the monitoring software Icinga. The extensive configuration options of Icinga requires one to have expertise knowledge of Linux operations. TKmon presents itself as a supplement in the form of a simplified interface. The most important status information on the monitored servers is directly accessible, host and service set-up is made understandable through data entry screens. In addition to the web interface TKmon works with an optional Call-Home-Service element, which sends a notification to the Thomas-Krenn support department when a monitored server encounters a hardware failure.
Important hint
The monitoring software TKmon is no longer being developed further and the Thomas-Krenn call-home service has also now been switched off.
